Protecting your personal data is important to us. In our Privacy Policy, we explain which personal data we collect, how we process it, and for what purposes we use it.

You will also find information about your rights regarding your personal data and how you can exercise these rights.

Data protection and data security are of particular importance to us. This privacy policy explains whether and how we process your personal data when you use our online services and fulfils our statutory information obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

This privacy policy applies to all websites under the domain “sievers-mobility.de” (“Website”), insofar as we process your personal data there.

4. Personal and anonymised data
We process personal and anonymised data on our Website.

  • Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. You are identifiable if you can be identified directly or indirectly, for example by means of a telephone number or credit card number.
  • Anonymised data is data that does not relate to an identifiable person (i.e. data that cannot be used to identify you directly or indirectly) or where the personal reference can only be restored with disproportionate effort.

5. Your rights regarding your personal data
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

If you have given us your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent. Any processing carried out before your withdrawal remains unaffected. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact our data protection officer.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. However, if you have any questions or complaints regarding data protection, we ask that you contact our data protection officer first.

6. Processing of your personal data when using our online services
In principle, you can use our Website without providing us with your personal data.

We only process your personal data on our Website if this is necessary for the functions provided and the processing of your data is legally permitted, or if you have given us your consent to use your personal data.

Below, we explain the purposes for which we process the data we collect from you and the respective legal basis for such processing.

7. Statistical analysis of your use of our online services using Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on our Website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics is integrated exclusively via Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics enables us to statistically analyse the use of our Website and continuously improve our online services. This may include processing information about the use of our Website, pages viewed, interactions and technical information about the device used.

Google Analytics is only activated on our Website once you have consented to the “Statistics” category via our consent management system, Cookiebot. Without the corresponding consent, no Analytics data is collected by Google Analytics.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn or changed at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings on our Website. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

We use Google Consent Mode v2. The consent decisions you make are transmitted to Google. When you access our Website, the relevant consent signals are initially set to “denied” and are updated according to your selection in the cookie banner. The consent signals analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are taken into account, among others.

We have not currently linked Google Analytics to Google Ads and do not use remarketing. Google Signals is not activated. There are also currently no other integrations between Google Analytics and other Google services such as Google BigQuery.

The retention period for user and event data in Google Analytics is 14 months. Once this period has expired, the relevant user- and event-level data is automatically deleted. The data retention setting does not affect aggregated standard reports in Google Analytics.

Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses for users in the European Union. The IP address is used to determine approximate location information and is subsequently discarded.

8. Log files
In addition to the analysis performed using Google Analytics 4, access data relating to each visit to our Website is stored in a log file on our web server. In connection with access, we receive usage data that is stored for statistical purposes and may allow identification based on the IP address. By default, information such as your IP address, the time and duration of your visit, your operating system, browser and pages viewed is collected.

This data may constitute personal data, particularly if we have a claim against your internet service provider requiring them to disclose your identity (e.g. in the event of unlawful behaviour). We use this data solely for error analysis. We expressly do not create profiles of the behaviour of our customers or Website visitors based on this data.

9. Use of personal data by YouTube when watching YouTube videos
Our online services contain videos embedded from the YouTube platform. YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

As soon as you access a page of our online services containing an embedded YouTube video, the plugin is activated to provide the corresponding audiovisual content from YouTube. YouTube uses cookies to determine which video you have watched and, based on the video you have watched, to show you similar, new or thematically related videos the next time you visit YouTube. YouTube may also use this information to display relevant advertising. In addition, YouTube is informed which pages of our online services you have accessed.

If you are logged in to YouTube or to your Google account while visiting our online services, YouTube and Google may associate your activities with your user account, meaning that YouTube may be able to identify you as an individual and process your personal data under these circumstances. You can prevent your activities from being associated with your user account by logging out and deleting the cookies.

10. Cookiebot
We use the Cookiebot service provided by Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark, on our Website to manage and document consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies.

Cookiebot enables us to obtain, manage and document your consent decisions. For this purpose, a randomly generated consent ID, the consent status, the URL accessed and the date and time of consent are processed in particular. In addition, technical information about the browser and device used is processed. A shortened IP address may also be processed to document consent.

Cookiebot uses the “CookieConsent” cookie to store your consent decision. This stores, in particular, the consent ID and consent status and is normally stored for 12 months. After this period, the cookie banner is displayed again and you can make a new consent decision.

Cookiebot uses an automatic blocking mechanism. This means that cookies and similar technologies for which consent is required are blocked until the relevant consent has been given.

The processing of data for managing and documenting your consent is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR insofar as this is necessary to fulfil our statutory documentation obligations, as well as on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically reliable and legally compliant management of consent.

The standard version of the Cookiebot Content Delivery Network (CDN) is currently used to deliver the Cookiebot service. According to the provider, this uses, among other things, the infrastructure of the US-based company Akamai Technologies. Technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, may be processed in this context. According to the provider, the consent data itself is not stored by Akamai.

If personal data is transferred to third countries as part of the use of Cookiebot, such transfers are carried out on the basis of the applicable data protection safeguards.

You can change your consent decisions or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our Website. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

11. Cookies
Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and enable certain functions of the Website or collect information about the use of our Website.

We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and cookies or similar technologies that are only used with your consent. Technically necessary cookies are used where they are required for the operation and basic functions of our Website. For non-essential cookies and similar technologies, we obtain your consent via Cookiebot.

Your selection in the Cookiebot banner determines which categories of cookies and similar technologies are activated. You can change your selection at any time via the cookie settings or withdraw previously given consent with effect for the future.

We use Google Analytics 4 for statistical analysis. Google Analytics 4 is integrated exclusively via Google Tag Manager and is only activated if you have consented to the “Statistics” category in Cookiebot. Without the corresponding consent, no Analytics data is collected. The processing carried out by Google Analytics 4 is explained in more detail in Section 7 of this privacy policy.
